PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The UK Investor Visa (Tier 1) Programme offers high net worth non-EU citizens an opportunity to make an investment (min of GBP 2,000,000) in exchange for a residency status and the right to work, study and finally settle in the United Kingdom. The investment has to be made in an actively trading UK registered company (however, property investment, management and development companies do not qualify).
The investment amount depends on how quickly the investor wishes to gain permanent residency (the more you invest, the faster the route to settlement). Once permanent residence (“Indefinite Leave to Remain”) has been obtained, applicants are eligible to apply for the British citizenship.
